In Lost Ark, Once you are level 50 and have arrived in Bern, do all the yellow quests there to unlock access to high-level content (raids, chaos dungeons, Epona daily quests,...). Here is a guide dedicated to Lost Ark that will help you equip yourself once you reach level 50, from ilvl 280 to 390!

Also, do your purple quest to get your final and awakening skills (taken from Beatrice in the Trision Gate).

1. Chaos Dungeon: First Set 280

The easiest way to start is to get your base gear 280 from Chaos Dungeons (which you can do three times per day).

The first chaos dungeon (Pirate Bay) allows you to collect the complete set and the first items to improve your set.

Each completed dungeon gives you a chest containing several pieces of the set (randomly).

By completing the quest in the dungeon, you can collect a bonus chest each time.

It is entirely possible to get the full set on the first day of your level 50.

2. The Other Sets: Crafting, PvP, Raids

There are several other pieces of Equipment. Their respective NPCs craft these.

Set related to crafting (Life Gear)

  • This set can be crafted from harvested ingredients or purchased from HV.
  • It will require more ingredients to upgrade.

PvP related set

  • This set is obtained in exchange for tokens obtained in the game's PvP content via chests.
  • It will take more tokens to upgrade your set.

Raid related set

  • This set is crafted using ingredients collected from the first Raid Guardian (Lumerus).
  • To improve it, you will need the ingredients collected from the following guardians.

Please note that each set has its skin and offers different set bonuses. It's up to you to choose what interests you.

3. Upgrade Equipment

  • All sets can be upgraded via the same NPC who can polish the Equipment (up to 5 times per piece), which increases its ilvl.
  • To do this, in addition to the ingredients seen above, you will need Acrasium, a valuable resource.

4. Collect Acrasium

Daily Recovery

Daily Quests (Eponas)

  • Each quest offers two bags of rewards
  • You collect 2 Acrasiums every five bags (the count is maintained on the following day)
  • You can do three quests per day (or more by spending in the cash shop)

Chaos Dungeon Event

Special Chaos Dungeon requires an entry ticket obtained in the classic Chaos Dungeons.

  • You get 2 Acrasium from the reward chest.
  • You can do this once a day.

Treasure maps

  • Terrestrial Treasure Map: All level 270+ treasure maps give you a chance to get 1 Acrasium as a reward (once per day).
  • Maritime treasure map: they are obtained via maritime activities (diving, chests, etc.) approximately every 2500 lucky spent on average (maritime activity energy). No daily limit.

Weekly Recovery

The labyrinth of the desert

  • Located in the Balankar Mountains (North Bern).
  • Each run allows you to obtain tokens to exchange for an offer containing Acrasium.
  • Allows you to collect a maximum of 5 chests per week.
  • Entrance tickets are purchased with shillings, lupeon seals, and Lost Ark gold.
  • The number of tickets you can buy with shillings is limited, so using gold coins is the only way to get five chests per week.

Weekly Quests (Eponas)

  • Similar to daily quests.
  • Maximum of 3 quests per week (4 by purchasing an item via the cash shop).
  • You can try to reset the quests once to have easier quests (randomly).

Other means of acquisition

  • Cash shop: usually two per day for 25 crystals each (in the black market).
  • Chaos Gate: to watch on the in-game calendar, killing the end boss gives 1 Acrasium. Two per day except for Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday.
  • Raid Guardian: You recover 3 Acrasium the first time you kill each Guardian.
  • Event islands: keep an eye on the in-game calendar. They sometimes offer Acrasium in the reward chests.
  • Island Quests: Some island quest rewards offer Acrasium (See list).
  • Reputation of Epona quests: some daily quests can give you Acrasiums (Consult the list).
  • You recover 80% of the Acrasium used when you disenchant an improved piece of Equipment.

5. Boost your ilvl (4 methods)

Method 1: Classic method

  • Get your whole set in Chaos Dungeons.
  • Go to raid T1 and craft your raid weapon.
  • Upgrade all your Equipment to level 320.
  • Then, level up to three pieces of your chaos gear to level 340.
  • Disenchant the other two chaos pieces and your T1 raid weapon.
  • Replace everything with 340 pieces from the T2 raid.
  • Then upgrade all your gear to 390.

Method 2: Optimal method

  • Craft 2 pieces of the crafting or PvP set (or one of each). Crafting the weapon is a good idea, by the way.
  • Complete the rest of your set with pieces from Chaos Dungeons.
  • Increase your two pieces (crafting or PvP) up to ilvl 385.
  • Travel to Shushire once hard mode dungeons are unlocked and replace your chaos dungeon pieces with the 295 found there.
  • Once done, you should be ilvl 325, which gives you access to the first T2 raid.
  • Do this until you replace all your Shushire gear with 340 raid parts (craftable via raid ingredients).
  • You should now be ilvl 355.
  • Keep advancing in this way through raids to upgrade all of your raid gear.
  • Once you get to the boss Beritas (Berutooth), disenchant your 385 weapons to craft your 390 elemental weapons.
  • You can stop at two 390 coins and two 380 coins, which keeps you at 385.
  • Being 385 will allow you to have access to the first T3 raid to craft your ilvl 400 equipment.

Method 3: A bit of everything

  • Craft 2 pieces of the crafting or PvP set (or one of each). Crafting the weapon is a good idea, by the way.
  • Complete the rest of your set with pieces from Chaos Dungeons
  • Increase your two pieces (crafting or PvP) up to ilvl 385.
  • Once done, you should be ilvl 315, 10 ilvl from your goal.
  • You need a total of 60 more to reach 325. To improve the Equipment of your choice (Life / PvP / Raid).
  • Once 325, do the first T2 raid to craft your 340 gear to replace the old one.
  • Keep advancing in this way through raids to upgrade all of your raid gear.

Once you get to the Veritas (Berutooth) boss, disenchant your 385 weapons to craft your 390 elemental weapons.

  • You can stop at two 390 coins and two 380 coins, which keeps you at 385.
  • Being 385 will allow you to have access to the first T3 raid to craft your ilvl 400 equipment.

Method 4: Casual Player

  • If you have leveled your craft, focus on your Life Set.
  • Otherwise, focus on raids.
